Once we get busy its all full focus and attention on having a smooth service which will last for 2-3 hours before its time to pack it all down and store away. This job comes with the great benefit of that once you are done and everything is ready for service, you’re more than welcome to treat yourself to as much of our food that you desire, have a toilet break or just chat to other vendors and form new friendships before the customers start showing up.
Whilst being a fast paced and customer orientated role, there is also a lot of downtime in-between as the job requires assembling the location on a daily basis which may consist of : Building the stall ( setup of gazebo tent, tables, cooking equipment and arranging everything else provided in order to be ready for an efficient lunchtime service ) Packing down of the stall and putting everything back into its allocated storage unit the same way it was unpacked in the morning ) Moderate cleaning of equipment and table surfaces/cloths in preparation for a clean start the following day Light vegetable cutting and bread-crumbing of chicken ready to be fried With all of these daily tasks it is preferable that you are someone who can handle heavy lifting and does not mind the physical aspect that this job entails. we provide our employees with a fast paced environment where we dish out food quickly to our customers whilst also having a buzzing team spirit and efficient work system due to the nature of the job.
